Maia – is a series of pictures painted with light. Maia is the Greek goddess of spring, from whom we derive the name of the month of May.
In this series Maia, the light is painted over the subject to reflect the beauty and colors; and portray the spring goddess Maia in an artistic way. Pictures in this series are taken with long exposures of 25 to 30 seconds, using hand painted light in a complete dark room.
